SOLVED - "1000 Year Old Man" 3rd Ending - SOLVED

SOLUTION - Lie to Him (Glacies) about how long he's been Asleep and then let him read his messages. - SOLUTION

I have the "Alone" and "Friends" but am at a loss as to what to do to get the third ending.

Can I get it on the initial visit to the desert planet or do I require to 'come back' here after doing something else further on in my play through?

What am I missing?

I'm not sure, but maybe you need to lie to him, but get caught.

I think you are missing the ending in which you freeze the guy.

Basically, I got that ending by lying to him about the year and then letting him get to his messages instead of deleting them. If you do that, he runs off without you.

So you need to lie but get caught? I assume he doesn't beg for your suicide pill then? This was confusing me as well...

Kind of strange that one can have different wins/losses for the same "alone" ending - with chicken, or without...

Exactly, you need to lie and get caught. Then he is angry enough to attack you instead of just wanting to die.

u need to lie, then when he starts doing his exercises use the computer and use the reset so shows 0 years and wipes all messages.

you are able to take it on board of the ship. but i can't find a use for it :D

Meat can be traded at the Barrier Control smugglers node for either a Nuke Launcher Component or a Nuke Missile.

I couldn't figure out how to get past that, peeps suggested things but all i had was radio options an nothing that let me access my inventory.. I ended up having to take the main gate and dropped a massive alpha strike.

You can always pass the smugglers gate. Contact them Jon and you have the options in the dialogue.

Will try on next play through.. seemed to somehow turn up too late to save all towers on 1st run :(.. may have spent a month in jail try to figure out how to escape

Is it possible to leave him in the freezer and get off the planet?

edit: nvm. I suppose I found a way to spare him from suffering.
