How/where do I sell gold pieces?

I sure have a bit after doing an adventure. But I checked and can't seem to find a place that will take them even though it was noted early on that they would certainly be worth money. Does anyone know? Thanks very much!

Yep, had the very same problem. None of the trade stations accept them and I don't think you can disassemble them into precious metals.

I am very sorry to say that this is a bug. This is now fixed and will be included in the next patch. You will get paid 230 credits for it.

Cool, was always wondering if this was a bug or not, since they were always unsellable. Once I tried to see if you could sell them at Nugget Node (which BTW would be kind of cool, as it would give some extra use to the guy who asks if he can help you further...).

But as long as we can sell them somewhere it's all good. Even if it were only that trading post on Lyme, since they currently seem to only want to buy fuel cells (and only sell energy capsules). Apart from their main business of course, which is the real reason anyone deals with them...

OH! Speaking of that trade post on Lyme: was it ever intended that they provide an alternate way to get a ticket to the space gate? I recall the bartender on Lyme mentioning that "the trade post on the harbour sells tickets on the black market", but that they "cost a small fortune". Yet there's not even an option to ask them about it when you get there...

Regarding the black market ticket through the spacegate. I noticed that myself the other day. I belive you are right. That was the original idea. Will look into changing that. Everything that changes dialouge is a hazzle tough. Thanks for pointing it out Squid!

No worries!

Understandably, changing it one way or the other will be work; but I suspect removing that bit from the barman might be the easiest (especially if it's a separate sentence - at least from a grammatical POV).

There's also the matter of how much it should cost. Personally, I'd put the price at... however much you get paid if you kill all the pirates in the pirate zone and collect every single black box (but not including those that are hanging around outside the zone). That's probably insanely high - every time I kill the pirate king I only ever end up with one or two additional black boxes due to needing the other stuff (but that's mainly because I don't want to waste time heading back and forth to a trade zone to top up on missiles and countermeasures).

230 credits for each or for all 6? or if you leave the planet early i think you get like...3 nuggets so..... is this patch a small one that is coming soon, or a large one that might take a while? Sorry for all the questions...just wondering. I absolutely love the game you all made!

230 for all 6 pieces. The patch will hopefully be out by the end of next week. The major thing being bug fixes and adding Steam Trading cards and Achievements. Fingers crossed. =)

Did this fix for selling the gold make it into the patch on the 27th? If so, unless it would only work on a new game it doesn't seem to be fixed since I can't sell it currently. Not a problem if it does take a new game, I can see how that could happen, but wanted to give a heads up if it isn't as fixed as it should be!
