Chapter 2 Statues Door Glitch

Saw an old unresolved thread about this problem so I wanted to revive it as I'm having the same issue. In Chapter 2, I cannot open the door to access Statues game. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game, tried restarting from the beginning of the Chapter, used both hands to pull, made sure to not stand on the door, literally everything suggested in old discussions and I still cannot open the door. I can pull with both hands on the lever and it responds like I'm moving the lever but it does not move the door open one bit. I don't know if it's related, but sometimes the train is not in the station. One time I opened the train door and it left the next time I reloaded the game. Another time I played through without touching the train and it was still in the station while I tried to pull the door open so I doubt it's related to whatever bug this is. Any suggestions appreciated!

It depends from where you stand. You need to be next to the entrance

Thank you for the suggestion! I just tried from the entrance, then I tried just pulling from all directions, it still does not budge the door for me,
