I GOT THROUGH THE DOUGHY GLITCH!

(Final Boss Fight)

In the final boss fight we figured out a handful of things about the glitch that makes you go through the ceiling/get stuck outside of the map.

There are a few things I read that said using the blue hand enacts the glitch, and we saw some people say that it was when the nitrous gas is shot while you are being grabbed by him.

We played multiple times and here is what (we think) we figured out:

- Using the blue hand may or may not be a glitch, we managed to beat it while using it but I do have a feeling that using it may put a timer on you until the glitch enacts. (If you think you can beat him without using the left hand try it, but this is not the main issue.)

- You CAN knock the nitrous tanks over by running into them, but if you do that you risk an issue where it goes off on you (especially if he is too close behind you) the nitrous gas breaking on you WILL without any doubt- cause the glitch. You may as well start over if you get iced, even if you survive.

- If he catches you and has a tank on him, you cannot save yourself by shooting the tank to freeze him. You WILL enact the glitch. HOWEVER hitting him on the shoulder (on the opposite side of the tank) or his face MAY save you. It may not.

- If his arms and legs are missing- bad sign, somehow you enacted the glitch. Start over.

- It is also possible that one or more of the tunnels may enact the glitch, we aren't fully sure about that. Avoid if you can, but don't be fully afraid to use them.

We managed to win by dropping as many tanks as we can using the omni hand, listening to a certain sound that happens when it enters his body, and only feeling confident to turn around when we got to the saw. Shoot the tank somewhat far away (DO NOT GET FROZEN) then hit the saw. You may do better by messing with your camera sensitivity.

If nothing else, without any doubt the tank/ice hitting you at all - (especially when he grabs you) WILL bring the glitch out. Otherwise you will HOPEFULLy be fine.

It was definitely playing the game on hard mode, but frankly we had a harder time with Miss Delight in chapter 3 than this.

I am going to give this a shot. It is funny because I have also had it happen for no reason it seems like. Seems to be after I get the second saw on him. I don't know how many times I need to saw him. Will update IF I complete.

UPDATE: It worked! I used blue hand once out of reflex but I stuck to all the other hands. I avoided most tunnels as well and this seemed to do the trick! Much appreciated!!

its weird because i never encountered this glitch no matter how many times i played it even though i did some of the bad things you said not to do here... repeatedly. I wonder if its a specific computer or options thing

Yeah I have never understood why glitches in games in general happen for some and not others. I have not had a single glitch until this point but glad there's a way around it.

So glad it worked for you too! It was an insane process to figure out. Hope that they patch it soon and this advice will be no longer necessary, but glad it could help at least one other.

I have no idea but my guess is that it has to do with when the game gets bought or downloaded maybe? It’s so interesting what glitches will even be different from file to file for certain games.

i got the glitch i got launched out the map until i couldnt see it anymore and his arms and legs were gone and i was speedruning the fight

Oh yes that’s definitely what was happening to us as well, completely sky rocketing out of the map until you couldn’t see anything anymore.

I tried to figure out all of the triggers for the glitch and write them down above on how we managed to get through it. We had to start over multiple times and it took a lot of patience and testing out different things.

I can’t promise that the advice above will help you but it helped us and it helped at least one other person.

I keep stuck to the celings in the tunnels on the doey boss fight in the mine or getting catapulted waaaaay up off the playing area..thats whats happening to me right now..i hope they make a patch for this as i kept trying over and over to pass the boss level..will try your idea and see if it works..so no using the blu hand, try to stay out of tunnels and if youre gonna shoot doey to freeze him..do it from a distance...
