Objective Glitches?????? Chapter 4. AND chapter 3. CONTAINS SPOILERS

So for chapter 4: After Yarnaby sadly met his doom, the game saved, and I exited to come back later. Now that I loaded into the game, my objective is stuck at "run" (and I even had the scary run instead of "Make Your Way to the Doctor" or whatever it should be. The game is still functioning and I just got out?? of the Doctor's Lair? I think. Idk where i am. I put the code in I plugged the thing in and I went to the next room, and then I had to get off my PC to get some assignments done. I really hate not knowing what my objective is so its really upsetting, and I really don't want to do everything all over again. I really thoght the objective would change when a new objective appeared but I'm unsure if I've gotten to that point yet. Has anyone had this problem??

For Chapter 3: Miss delight is the worst part n the game for me. I hate NPC enemies that I have to STARE at. However that's not the point. AFTER the chase scene with dog day when I left the school, the game acted as though I had just left Home Sweet Home. The power was off and pitch black, and Poppy's subtitles and voice lines were playing. I went to the elevator because I knew thats where the voice lines were from, but Kissy and Poppy weren't even on the elevator like they were supposed to be at the end of the Home Sweet Home part. I pressed the button, the lights turned on, and then I got the call from Ollie telling me to connect the wire from Home Sweet Home to the Statue, but I did that, and the story didn't progress. I ended up having to just watch someone else play the ending, and skipping to chapter 4 because I cannot go through the anxiety of Miss Delight's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ again in order to get past the bug. Did anyone else have THIS issue???

I am in love with the game and the story, but even after the bug patches, this is really bad, and almost unplayable, while being very disappointing not being able to rely on the auto-save feature. :/ Has anyone else had issues with their saves? Please let me know. Thanks
