Yarnaby Issue

I've been trying for days, even waited for the patch that stated they resolved these issues but they're are still present. Somehow this boss always knows where I am, never leaves the area where I have to activate the panel, and almost always spots me despite a wall being between me and it.

No matter what I do Yarnaby instantly knows where I am. In one situation it darted from across the map the second I activated the panel and killed me while clipping through the walls. Why are there spots where you can hide if it can see and kill you when inside it? I've watched walkthroughs and most of them beat this section because Yarnaby glitched out or got really lucky and didn't move. Just make it that the boss wanders a set path and cannot grab you when inside the safe area, is that too complicated?
