White Screen Issues?

At launch, the menu has a blank white background, when you hit New Game, the screen fades to black, and then gets stuck the same bright white background without the title splash and menu option.

In order to start, I have to load last checkpoint. I hope I'm not missing any cutscenes or important story because its not working.

The TVs also only display the same white, and don't have any video footage. To include the tutorial. So I have no idea what I'm doing, and clearly I'm going to be missing things.

Verifying files did not work.
Anyone else?

Getting the exact same issue, any word on fixes for it? All cutscenes (Intro and VHS tapes) are just blank white screens for me

I'm sure when the devs find out they'll fix the issue. They responded saying they'll look into it. It might be some time.

The only way to start the game is to start a new game, wait for it to be stuck at the white screen, close the program, then relaunch, and load last save. This will only get you gameplay. No cutscenes/tapes will work. For that, you can either wait for whatever fix might come, or you can search online for them like I did.

Yes starting a game works fine for me, gets stuck in a the white screen for the duration of the intro cutscene but once done the game starts as normal without me having to restart it. Hope this gets fixed soon

Hey guys, I found a solution to this problem, at least it worked for me. So, I was browsing the local files and found that I wasn't able to load the .mp4 files due to my version of windows being windows 10 pro N which doesn't include the windows media feature pack. So, I downloaded it and installed it. Rebooted. Game works!
TLDR; install windows media pack (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/media-feature-pack-for-windows-10-n-october-2020-2f992f23-1fca-60a3-9907-fd4fe896a8a7) and reboot.

Turns out I didn't have media player, installing it and restarting fixed it. I guess just check that you also have it. Thanks guys

Last time I installed a K-lite, it killed my processor and board. Ima go with a diamond hard no on that one. The Devs will take care of it. They got more game to make anyway. It'll be fine.
