Probably mentioned alot, but... are we the real bad guy to the story?

Possibly...I'm kinda leaning towards a no, however, because our protag is revealed to be experiencing two types of guilt-- survivor's guilt and guilt from having worked there, despite never having any knowledge or association to the Bigger Bodies Initiative. We don't know too much about who they were and what they did, before the Hour of Joy. Moreover, Poppy and Kissy seemed to sense a lot of good enough to trust them. Mommy's only mad at them, because she believes anyone-- innocent or not -- who works at Playtime Co. is guilty by default of association to the company. Our protag has just learned what the hell went down in their own workplace. Now until it's proven that they have cliche amnesia, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they had zero knowledge about it and only came back to find their coworkers.

Also, before anyone says anything, I know that in the hallucination, there were the words "guilt haunts you", which kinda references back to Mommy blaming the protag for what happened back in Ch. 2. And the fact that the lore in this chapter (3, I mean) felt fragmented; not sure if anyone noticed that. Not sure if it was done on purpose or on accident, since there's lore in both Project Playtime and the ARG that should have been in Ch. 3. But if it was done on purpose, then that would be an interesting detail as it tells us that the protag did already know enough about what was happening and so was able to piece together immediately the puzzle with the fragmented information they received from the tapes. Moreover, I always thought it was strange that they never tried to save DogDay. Poor fella was really friendly to them and there was more than enough time to save him, but the protag just...didn't. I'm not sure if that was on purpose or if the protag felt that there really was nothing left to save of DogDay.

It's a long train of thought, but for the most part, I believe, we're the good guy who just has a weird way of doing things. It doesn't help that this is a silent protag, so we have to use context clues around us to make our own conclusions.
