Chapter 3 contains numerous instances of blood and gore, the 2 most prominent instances of this is in the school and playhouse sections of the game. In the school, you find a character who resembles a human-like puppet. This puppet has their face broken off, which reveals fleshy insides of their face, similair to how a human would look with their skin torn off.
Towards the end of the playhouse section, you find one of the goriest sights of the game so far. A living dog like toy, who has been suspended by their arms, with their legs torn off, and a belt used to secure that their intestines don't fall out. This character gives you a speech about how the main antagonist of this chapter, (CatNap) treats a character known as The Prototype like a god, and that his fate is that of a heretic. After this quick speech, the character start so yell at you to get out, begging for you to run as a bunch of tiny, stuffed animal toys crawl inside of him through his exposed intestines, and one even crawls in through his dark, empty, and black eye socket. This moment is accompanied with loud screams, before the sounds of choking play, and a chase sequence starts. This moment can be horrifying, if not traumatizing for a child. I'm no psychiatrist, nor am I someone who understands anything about the minds of children. So I'm not trying to sound professional or anything. If you want to be sure if the game is okay for your child, watch a playthrough of the game before deciding. And, like I already said, if you're the child in this situation, ask for your parent or legal guardian to review if the game is okay for you.
The game is by no means pure blood and gore, nor is it trying to be sick, twisted and vile for the sake of being so. There's a story behind everything, but if you're a child, and bloody, scary, or gory imagery doesn't really affect you, go for it, but if it does, the first two chapters can be alright, while chapter 3 definitely won't.
(God, this feels like some ♥♥♥♥ facebook moms would read about video games on some random news report website.)
