What I Thought About Poppy Playtime Chapter 3

Chapter 3 was a bad game in terms of gameplay, but it is good in terms of graphics and story, I think they added so many puzzles to extend the time, I WISH CHAPTER 4 TO BE GOOD

i actually like the puzzles, i like when the game focuses on them more, it helps poppy's playtime retain a unique identity in a sea of very similar mascot horror games. the main issue w/ chapter 3 is the massive amount of really disruptive bugs, but hopefully that can be fixed over time. not trying to say you're wrong or anything, just offering my own perspective.

I think they made these mistakes on purpose so that speedrunners can finish the game faster with these methods.

Chapter 3, is overall a repetitive puzzle chapter. like if reading a horror novel was more about something else then what it was titled and themed about.

Reminds me of black mesa's awful interloper plug puzzles, those still give me the fizzles.
What bugs me most is that the main toy doesn't even show up half the time, just small cameos and such.
i literally had more enjoyment talking and listening to the catnap cut-out then playing some parts of the game. not to say it is inherently bad or anything, it's just been over-glorified by the community.

The puzzles wouldn't be a complaint if they weren't as hard as they are. I agree, it's cool to have a couple puzzles in each segment, but sometimes I feel right as if I finished a puzzle, another one happened and it made me (personally,) feel like the pay-off from the previous puzzle die off.

However, the chases were awesome (at least, to me) and the gameplay was much better than Chapter 1 and 2, as I could easily remember every segment (of chapter 1 and 2) and how to do it. This one, despite its flaws, I felt having the grabpacks (as well as the puzzle devices,) sort of made Chapter 3 (as well as 1 and 2) feel different from... ugh.... BanBan and other mascot 'horror'.
Combined with the relative lack of bugs and well-done horror and jumpscares put it up there with earlier FNAF games.
But yeah theres too many puzzles.
