Ollie is the Prototype.

I always knew that something was off about Ollie the first time I heard his voice watching Terricho play Chapter 3. This is a decade after the factory shut down, and he talks about the Smiling Critters as if he isn't one, and I WAS CORRECT! Ollie was all Mimic from Ruin and was in fact the Prototype mimicking his voice. We see in the Tape before the final battle with CatNap that the Prototype is a quick learner, and can change his voice as he tests it when talking to what appears to be Harley Sawyer or the Scientist. And this is further proved when we don't hear Ollie's voice through the Phone to congratulate us on defeating CatNap. We hear nothing, as we go to plug in the giant battery. I always knew...

Yes although I will say, wikis aren't really trustable if they aren't locked.


ANYONE can edit stuff on there(unless that topic was locked(Where someone random can't edit stuff)), meaning someone could make stuff untrue, so before you trust anything on a wiki, just remember that someone could've edited it beforehand, hence why you should do your own investigating.

For some reason people are saying that Ollie could also just be a kid who's been integrated into a computer.

(I don't see how this is logical as he still talks through the phone while the power goes out.)


Which also makes me suspicious as to how he even was able to talk to the player when there wasn't power. Any thoughts?

I would like to point out something that is missable: Ollie does call you after you defeat Catnap. You have to wait in the battery room for a couple minutes after you insert the blue battery and turn back on the power. I discovered this accidentally when I was wandering around the room to check if there's anything else to do. I find it interesting that he takes that long to call you back, which brings up the question on what he was doing during that timeframe. Anyway, in the call, he congradulates you for killing Catnap and how you made the choice to help Poppy by staying. I forgot if there was anything else, but I just wanted to bring this up because I notice how many streamers just immediately left the room.
