Ollie is the Prototype.

I always knew that something was off about Ollie the first time I heard his voice watching Terricho play Chapter 3. This is a decade after the factory shut down, and he talks about the Smiling Critters as if he isn't one, and I WAS CORRECT! Ollie was all Mimic from Ruin and was in fact the Prototype mimicking his voice. We see in the Tape before the final battle with CatNap that the Prototype is a quick learner, and can change his voice as he tests it when talking to what appears to be Harley Sawyer or the Scientist. And this is further proved when we don't hear Ollie's voice through the Phone to congratulate us on defeating CatNap. We hear nothing, as we go to plug in the giant battery. I always knew...

first off he never said he had never proof, and second of all, if Catnap protects the children, then why he gave them sleeping gas? that literally makes no sense if he protect the children

THE POPPY GAS CAUSES people to sleep.


The side effects of it can make you hallucinate/have a nightmare.


it's not CatNaps fault the player had a nightmare.



And also before you say he uses it to hurt them, quickly note that catnap was given the ability to use the poppy gas to make people sleep.

i never said that it was Catnaps fault that the player had a nightmare, and the games VHS literally said that one of the workers said that her daughter had a nightmare from the poppy gas

Anyways, I'm starting to think Ollie is the prototype, quite literally.





When I first played, I ALWAYS thought that Ollie talked quite weird. Like way more sophisticated and not like how a kid would normally talk.

of course that could be ruled out because of whoever wrote the dialog.


but also remember that they spent time perfecting this chapter, making it as best they could.

I have been around younger kids who speak in a more adult manner because that is how they were taught to speak, we also know that the kids that are experimented on are around scientists a lot, so it stands to reason that they would pick up on the those scientists way of speech. I do agree there is something off about Ollie though.

I agree in some way although something that was really odd was how he asked about the shrine CatNap made.

That is one of the things that I find off about Ollie, he seems to know at least some of what we, the player sees, makes you wonder how. However a few people in YouTube comments and on Poppy Discord have suggested that Ollie IS the phone, the phone has audio capacity and has eyes, so they suggest that is the reason that Ollie knows what we see.
