Windows Defender finds Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml After Installing
After installation, when I go to start chapter 3, Windows Defender announces it has found a threat, quarantined the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Poppy Playtime\PoppyPlaytime_Chapter3\Playtime_Chapter3\Binaries\Win64\Playtime_Chapter3-Win64-Shipping.exe, and then the game crashes.

Anyone else getting this?

Welp, I'm taking a risk and I had Defender exclude this threat, and I also had the file restored. Just started the game and it's working so far! Hope this helps Guga.

Not sure if this is an actual Trojan Horse or a false positive, but the game is working.

Hi, I tried to do your tip but every time I try to enter the game it still warns me about the Trojan, but thanks for the tip

I checked the file on virustotal.com and it comes back clean. I dont know what the issue is, but its strange.

Results:
No security vendors and no sandboxes flagged this file as malicious

Generated Hash: c2c3c0e9a585cf9a001f670d8e1dda7701ad634b2d8a2b52552116be514c272c

Playtime_Chapter3-Win64-Shipping.exe

All that said, I trust that site enough to create an exclusion in Windows Defender for the file. To add an exclusion do the following:
Select Start , then open Settings . ...
Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions.
Select Add an exclusion, and then select from files, folders, file types, or process.
