final chase through the tunnels in chapter 2

is there some secret to going up that last shaft fast ? i cannot figure it out she always gets me even half way up what is wrong ? i have tried 2 diffy mice and changed usb ports nothing helps im confused on how to get up it fast enuff its like the grab pac does not pull up fast enuff ? anyone else having this problem i mean im on 30 tried now cant get it

having the same issues as well. Its almost impossible to escape her. Might be a glitch

If your fps is either 30 or below the grabpack is legitimately unusable. See this video for a demonstration. This bug needs to be fixed to where the grabpack relies too much on your fps.

nope its at the default 60...should i go higher because its really slow pulling me up i have made it half way once and she still got me....and this is on a brand new gaming pc...on my old gaming pc i never had this issue as much lol...i know its the hardest part of the game...but in every video you see the grab pack flying upward and thx for the reply

Try 120 or 144. I notice on 144 fps the grabpack is extremely reliable. 120 is alright be it a bit sluggish at moments., Btw your pc is fine, this game not only has some pretty terrible optimization but also UE4 crashes across the board, you got past the gear mold puzzle room which crashes for me, so it seems your game is flawless somehow. My 8GB RX 6600 can handle games like cyberpunk at high with zero issues yet high on this game which does not look remotely better than cyberpunk performs worse even though the game is always set indoors.

ok so i had to put my fps in the game to 30 for it to be faster...the higher i go the slower it gets ???? whats up with that on 30 i flew up that tunnel-shaft to end the game wow what a difference i have intel 12 gen i7 and NVidia rtx 3070 and 16 gig ddr5 in a brand new acer predator orion 5000 with brand new acer predator monitor set at 240hz

The game is definitely acting strange on your setup. Do you have something that can monitor framerates? The grabpack should have become a beast at 120 or even 144 fps. My full system specs are: Ryzen 7 5800x 8-core Processor, 32 GB DDR4 Corsair Ram, XFX SWFT RX 6600 non XT 8GB. Pretty much on par with your system apart from my GPU which I think is on par with a 3060 rather than a 3070 but isn't that much different from a nvidia equivalent GPU. For me, the higher the fps the faster the grabpack works, I could fly to the slides in statues with 144fps but at 30 I barely get across the foam cube pit. Btw, my display is 3440x1440 144hz, I run native in pretty much every game including Poppy Playtime.

well let me restart and play the whole game at 30....its grainy i hate it but i flew haha and ill get back to you in an hour or so with what i find out and thx for helping me atleast fix one problem haha much appreciated

ok done and in record time now haha...so i ran 240 the whole way cept for wack a wuggy i tried several setting cuz it took me 3 tries to get through it and 60 works best on that then i changed back to 240 till that final scene back to 30 to get up the shaft and out lol...it is messed up and i have no idea why....

Probably the very messy coding for this game. At least you were able to beat your game after your purchase.

well it is odd that for me the lower fps in the game make the grabpack faster and we will prob never figure out why...but the gfx suffer alot the dark scenes are very grainy....but no other way to get up that shaft-tunnel in the final chase....and i also experimented with some of the jumps and other pulls ups in shafts and diffy fps no diffy i could notice....i was only getting hung up on the final chase sequence i had gone 65 times and gave up and decided to post here...so i thank you very much i was so pissed n frustrated i could not find an answer until you supplied it so wow....and my monitor is full hd only and yes the game works perfectly for me no glitches errors crashes at all....i did find a few bugs lol...or maybe things they threw in there for us to find but nothing special and it doesnt help at all...normally i use the nvidia geforce experience optimal settings but even that had the fps at 60 so whatever thx again

ok i played the whole game in 240 and i was able to escape at the end first try but it is no where as fast as 30 fps going up that shaft but i made it lol...figured ide give another update

dude did ya try changing the fps rate ? thats a game changer lol
