musical memory error

does anyone else get a red light across the room for the musical memory part? not sure if its a glitch, but i havent seen it on anyone elses device when playing. any help?

i actually got that bright red light throughout the entire game. i think it's just a bug but I'm currently uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if that helps

I'm getting that red light on my laptop. I played through the first couple minutes on my desktop computer, and its not there. I don't know why it's there, but I hope it can be fixed...

Hey. I found this fix that worked for me. It was originally posted by this steam user named Zordo. First, try turning off bloom. This will make the red lights disappear. However, if VHS tapes are white and the Musical Memory buttons are gray and black disabling bloom, try the method by Zordo down below:

"I have the solution, that happened to me too and it make impossible to complete musical memory, so, here is the solution:

Hold Windows button and press R button and in the panel write: %appdata%
Then, in the top of all files there's an "AppData" file, open it, then open "Local" file, then open the "Playtime_Prototype4" file, then open "Saved" file, then open "Config" file and then open "WindowsNoEditor" file, there is an archive called "GameUserSettings.ini" , open it and you will see some texts, search for the line that says
"sg.EffectsQuality= " after the "=" sign there's a number, that number needs to be 4 so, change it to 4, close and SAVE THE CHANGES and that's it, the game is fixed and you can now watch correctly all the screens and with that, win the musical memory game."

that doesn't fix issues for everyone only specifical gpu's such as intel xe intel uhd 630 are able to be fixed by it gpu's below that probably won't work just to let you know

this big red light is not only in musical memory but its also in random places like the molding room to make the green hand and there's also tiny versions of these red lights i found one in poppy's room and i wish i can see my green hand every time i charge it with electricity its also a red light so yeah this bug sucks and i think this bug is only on laptop and my reason is from McMiner3244 when he says that he gets the red light when he's on laptop and i am also on laptop so yeah i also think that the big red light is mostly found on laptop so if you can fix this for me and tell me to play chapter 2 after when you fix it i will tell you if that's the problem or not
