Train button problem

So whenever I enter the train to input the codes, I am unable to push any of the buttons. The weirder thing is that when I watch someone else play it on YouTube, their reset button looks different to mine. Their reset button is two arrows going in a circle, mine is only one arrow pointing to the left. I have tried restarting the game, replaying from my last checkpoint, ect.

It's a shame to because I was having so much fun until this happened. Looks like I might not be able to finish the game at this point. WHY DOES MY GAME HAVE A DIFFERENT BUTTON??? The most frustrating thing is that I can't find anyone else who has had this problem.

I'm having this problem too. It's a show stopper and right at the end of the game, I'm sad. On youtube people have a 'circular arrow' on the left, and I have a 'left arrow'. None of the buttons change or do anything. I can't enter the code and can't see the ending :(

Same problem here. I just have a left arrow and not the change the order button one like the videos shows and you guys are describing. Also tried restarting the game and everything. Nothing works, still the same problem.

I have the same problem. I get the "left arrow" button in the train instead of the "shuffle" button. Is there any fix for this? Just one step away from the ending and I NEED CLOSURE!

you have to press E on your keyboard to each corresponding button to change things...the character order..colors and number code...have the center thing on what you wanna change then press E ...and be close enuff for it to engage its pretty simple really...

Thats a nice thought chugz but we've all tried that. We've tried everything. The entire train console is dead for us. The only thing we can activate is the horn. What I can't figure out is why so few people seem to be having this problem. I have even uninstalled the game a couple times and verified the game cache. Our game is just busted it would seem.

ok so i have the same as you guys a left arrow....so u get close enuff so your target circle-dash <not sure what its officially called > is right on that button-arrow...that changes the order of the characters...then for the colors you put that same circle-dash on the lower button and press E that changes the color then for the number code you put that circle-doash on the characters that are colored to change the number code all done by using E on your keyboard...if that doesnt work then i dont know...but i had the same problem as you guys and didnt realize 2 things....number one ya have to use E then that circle-dash has to be on what your changing sorta like what ya do to get the red hand in part 1 up top when you collect all the colored boxes and i do believe ppl that have the circle arrow its an older version of the game it doesnt matter i have the left arrow also...keep me posted i hope this helps

Okay so I just tried it again. And NOW the left arrow button changes the order of the characters. It did not do that 2 weeks ago for me. So I'm guessing an update has fixed the issue lately. Try it again fellas.

Hi I have a solution! My icon is also an arrow pointing to the left instead of a shuffle button. All you have to do to walk up to the console and press "E" to change the colors, shuffle, and order. For some reason I totally forgot that "E" was a button aside from left and right click for the grab pack.
