Same thing for me! I tried to mess with the settings, and made everything as low quality as possible. Maybe its either:
1. The fact that our computers are too trashy to load it (probably not that but my pc sucks)
2. The windowed mode. Maybe we can't have it fullscreen? I dunno. I haven't tried it. I might soon though.

same. Except I have a brand new high end gaming PC. Also, there seems to be others having a similar issue, with Chapter 2. Maybe something else is down with the company that produces this game.

My computer is pretty good but when it loads the lobby it sometimes crashes. I think its a bug because my game loads just fine all of the other checkpoints

The default setting is borderless windowed. Try setting it to fullscreen and restarting. That worked for me. Hope this helps.

1. Check system requirements:
Ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the game. Verify that your graphics card drivers are up to date.

2. Verify game files:
If you're playing on Steam, right-click on the game in your library, go to "Properties," then navigate to the "Local Files" tab and select "Verify Integrity of Game Files." This will check for any missing or corrupted game files and replace them if necessary.

3. Update the game:
Make sure you have the latest version of Poppy Playtime installed. Developers often release patches and updates that address various issues, including performance and loading problems.

4. Disable background applications:
Close any unnecessary applications running in the background, as they can consume system resources and potentially interfere with the game's performance.

5. Run the game in compatibility mode:
Right-click on the game's executable file or shortcut, select "Properties," go to the "Compatibility" tab, and try running the game in compatibility mode for a different operating system, such as Windows 7 or 8. Apply the changes and launch the game again to see if the issue persists.

6. Reinstall the game:
If none of the above solutions work, try uninstalling Poppy Playtime and then reinstalling it. This can help resolve any installation or file corruption issues.

Conclusion:
If the problem persists after trying these steps, you may want to reach out to the game's developers or support team for further assistance. They will have more specific knowledge about the game and may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or insights.
