should I ask for a refund?
I beat the game under 2 hours,I thought that the game was going to bring the rest of the chapters for free, but it turns out that the rest of the game will be dlc.

and to make things worse they are gonna sell nft's.

I think that I should ask for a refund, what do you think?

I was going to buy it until the whole nft thing and the extra chapters are 5$ extra each.
I felt like ive already "played" the chapter just by watching a youtuber play it, it's not really that interesting the second time. I would say yes and save those 5$ (wich wil become more when the full game is released).

The extra chapters being $5 is nothing assuming they're reasonably paced. If there ends up being at most 7 chapters that add 30-60 minutes of gameplay each then you spent a max of $35 for up to 6 hours of entertainment. If they're all as short as chapter one then it might not be worth it just because how long you have to wait for so little. Still don't really think price is an issue though if they stick to the promise of $5 per chapter and if you think otherwise then you are really cheap.

The NFTs are stupid but they are just posters that you already see in the game. Would have preferred they sold an art book DLC if they wanted a little extra funding.

I can"t believe it keeps getting such possitive reviews. It wasn't bad but it does feel like a huge scam.

Refund it. Unless you really want NFT's to become the future of gaming, now is the time to vote with your wallet. Be sure to report the game to Valve as well, since Steam doesn't allow NFT's.

Refund it, tell people that they actively go against Valve's TOS and that they try to push some flavor of the month scam, which most likely is a money laundering scheme.
Get yourself a nice indie game, or get a coffee. Your money would be better spent that way.

okay people I asked for a refund.
Bro I get the whole DLC thing, but come on, so what if they are selling nfts? I get the fact steam doesnt like that, but I dont see it even once here. I mean, the merch is barely selling, the game is really cheap, so they need to make money somehow! I mean, come on.

And they can make money doing something that won't get their games removed from Steam. For example: Developing a game that isn't a buggy mess and which can be sold at a higher price point because it has far more to do in it, crowdfunding, or even getting a part time job.

They have stated on youtube and on twitter I think, said they release some digital posters to collect that would give an vhs tape with one word you would have to figure out

for its price it should offer at least 50% more gameplay.

anyway,I hate its price and the fact that the rest of the game is going to be dlc way more than I hate the nfts

It's 4 euros.. it's the price of a small meal in Europe, or barely 2x coffees (one coffee costs avg. 2.80 euros). game development isn't easy especially when it comes to 3D games which are animated. i would have personally paid for the rest of the dlc that might come up but idk if they ever will do that because of current situation.

Also think about the fact that when people finish the first chapter, they are all usually under 2 hour game time. That means most will refund the game like you did, so they gain barely any money because Steam takes its own % aswell.

this game only has 4 puzzles and one chase sequence,I was expecting at least 6 puzzles and 2 chace sequences when I bought it.
4 euros are too little, there are games out there with this price that offer more.

also if people cared about playing the rest of the game then they wouldn't ask for a refund and I certainly don't care about the rest of the game.

$35 is very steep for only 6 hours of gameplay. The Steam catalog is flooded with very reasonably priced indie games that offer much more content. I watched IGP play through Poppy Playtime in 30 minutes and I definitely didn't feel like it was worth $5.

Also, I'm clearly out of the loop on this NFT ♥♥♥♥. What's up with this? I thought that was just for whiny digital artists trying to copyright their artwork?
