Overlooked Controversy (Stolen Concepts/Harassment)

On top of all the questionable practices with NFTs and focusing way too much on selling merch to the point where it looks like this was the initial goal all along, it seems like some of the devs intentionally sabotaged a small developer and they have a history of doing this with his previous animations.

While usually a claim of stolen concepts would just be a claim, the fact that they have history of taking his ideas and harassing this small dev makes it very likely to be true and intentional.

Who gives a ♥♥♥♥ if the goal was to sell merch? The best way to succeed at that goal would be to release a great game that people love. Check. Mission accomplished. So what's the problem?

All of the allegations are either coincidences, or are unrelated to the dev and he pretends they are.

Also forgetting the fact they sexualize female characters in their animations. There's so much wrong with them that people overlook for the sake of the game. Kids especially, unfortunately. They pushed merch almost immediately, got into NFTs less than a month than the first chapter had been out...no, that doesn't scream money at all. Face facts, they know what will work bc of the big trendy games and they implement that hard. Now we got Betty Spaghetty getting thrown into the mix.

I would like to see proof of this though, given how shady they've been. There were legit logs and screenshots showing what they'd done.

Literally the guy just had the same idea as Poppy. It's just a "toy scary" game. There's nothing copying about it.

You are aware the PPT devs harassed and bullied a kid, right? They just happened to come up with a scary toy game after that? Their animations kinda point towards what happened with Poppy as well. There's a whole story here people are choosing to ignore bc they love the game.

My thoughts: Yes, what EnchantedMob did is unexcusable and horrid, but it seems all game devs have their problems these days so frankly its hard to care about. Plus the game itself is actually amazing, what I do is acknowledge the bad but still try to enjoy this new universe by taking it at face value and face value only, no corrupt devs, no nfts, no plagarism. Just another game.

It wasn't even lore, it was just a name drop for Betty Spaghetty, pretty sure. It was all over Youtube. So there's not even incentive to buy those bc the secret was already long out.

no. stop it right there. there's shouldn't be a "but" in there at all. these devs are scum and nothing more regardless of what they make. grown men bullying a kid and stealing his ideas is the lowest of the low and it's disgusting that people like you are willing to overlook that just because the game has nice animations that i wouldn't be surprised were stolen as well.

A horrible toy that comes to life killing humans? Doesn't that sound like Chucky?? Then we have movies like Silent Night Deadly Night 3 where toys were manufacture with the intend to kill humans. Killer toy concept isn't anything new. A horror game base on killer toys? You got to show proof where idea comes from. This is just like engineers stealing each other idea then going to court showing documentation on who had it first. Let alone all those music plagiarism cases.
