Can't level up after completing the game

I was trying to level the rest of the dragons after finishing the game, but collecting the gems/crystals no longer counts, I can't even replay boss battles and get anything. Is there a workaround?

We're sorry to hear you'ere having this problem. Unfortunately, we have not been able to reproduce it.
After completing the main missions, have you completed the secondary routes and unlocked the 'Challenge Mode'? Here you should find the type of crystals you'll need to level up all your dragons.

I'm actually playing on PS4. Maybe that's why you can't reproduce it. So for now I need to unlock the challenge mode to level up the rest? Thank you for responding.

Yes, there are some types of crystals that you can only get in the challenge mode and are necessary to upgrade all the dragons. There's a challenge mode for each level.
Let us know if you have any difficulties upgrading the dragons after completing the challenge modes.
