Anyone playing at 160% enemy health + damage?
Looking to start a fresh run and wondering what optimal modifier % would be.

All varied modifier users are welcome to share their experiences!

Doing a 120% run sword and board vanguard. Just beat the ferryman. Having a fun time so far!!
I've tried it at level 123 to test it out and it plays well but the elites hit like trucks. I think it will make more sense to play 160% during Ng+. It will be too spongy for a brand new play through in my opinion. If I had to suggest an increase for new play through to be considered tough but fair I would say 120-130%

Yeah, tried it with a wyldwarden, wouldn't advise starting the game with both. Since you aren't given much tools in the beginning, there's nothing much you can do to overcome the additional enemy HP. For someone who's finished the game a few times I can see it being more tedious than hard, esp. pre-necromancer.

160% damage is nice if you want more challenge. The HP though, I'd only turn it on once you get the chance to upgrade skills at least.

Shame there is no essence boost or any other reward. Kind of an oversight considering NG+ is basically stat boosts with higher soul gain. Enemies aren't smarter or have new moves.
