Merchants refill
I bought all the linen fabric from the fabric merchant and she's not refilling ? I don't understand at what point merchants are refilling their stocks. The blacksmith refilled his smithing stone at some point but idk if its because I upgraded him or because I reach a checkpoint in story.

Anyway, I tough linen fabric was very common so I used it to craft some bandages. Now I want to upgrade merchants but they all need 5 then 20 linen fabric. So I try to farm it on bandits but thats so slow because the droprate is pretty low. Is there a better way to get some fabrics or am I comdemned to farm hours a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ basic lv1 material ?
I mean I'm okay to farm some endgame rare material to craft something but do I have to do this with every level of fabric ? Doing bonefire > killing 3 mobs > bonefire ... ?

I like the game so far but this looks like a big gamedesign error no ?

Maybe i'm missing something here

At some point you will get items that increase drop rate significantly (at around 60% of the game) it's best to farm when you have the items.

I've completed the game a few times and I never really upgraded the tents, it's so tedious. Needing to level the crafters and too much focus on crafting is one of the game's major flaws for me definitely.

I said this on another post. The crafting/leveling system is overcomplicated and pointless.

Never trust a private profile account 😏

Not upgrading the tents is a hot take.

Nice ad hominem. Where's the argument?

Upgrading the tents (not the NPC itself) is not necessary to finish the game.
I noticed this problem too. Later in the game when you need early game crafting materials (and this is VERY LIKELY TO HAPPEN), the only way is farming them in early game areas. This problem could be solved if the merchants start to sell infinite early game crafting materials when you level up them. For example, at a certain level, Shirin can start selling infinite linen fabric.

I also thought that updating the tent is very pointless. Too much crafting materials and gold to just just get a 20% discount. And this not even include crafting prices, only the items they sell...

I think there are a few upgrades that affect craft price (maybe just enchanter and blacksmith?). I would like to note that the discount upgrades (currently) seem to bug out your sell prices ("discounting" the amount they pay to you), so be sure to offload your dupe equipment on a non-Witch Tree merchant.
