(Spoiler) Totally missed Pepper
So I finally faced the boss who unlocked the ground pound and apparently he's a familiar face but.... I had no idea who this guy was. I definitely never talked to him. Had to find a youtube video to see who he was just out of curiosity.

Anyone else have a similar situation? Not a big deal, of course, but I feel like a missed out on some of the game simply cuz I walked past this guy as he didn't stand out to me. I'm usually the type of player who likes to do all the side stuff before continuing the main mission.

The sidequest he gives is pretty good although short. He wasn't that easy to miss if you entered the inn, but he was easy to miss outside the barracks. Missed him a few times there before realizing you can talk to him in my first run.

You can pick up the quest after you have done the kill 7 bandits/collect ears quest.

If you turn in the quest before getting your first move unlocked, you will also get 2 x lockpicks.
You talk to him first if you enter the pub, then he shows up again outside the "police station" after you clear the bandits underground quest, thats when he gives you his quest to get inside the haunted house.

And this is important, since apparently lockpicks are finite... (another great mistake from the devs).

Having grabbed all chests, i'm pretty sure I have a lockpick surplus, so it's not like missing those 2 hard-locks you out of 100% items (I don't think there's a [Do all 58 Quests] achievement either, so I don't think missing his quest affects anything other than the boss being a "who's this sassy, lost child?" moment).

He don't drop the key to the haunted house if you kill him as a boss? The devs should let this happen if any player miss his quest.
