Two of the best skills are Ball Lightning and Fork Lightning. You can buy Fork Lightning from the bandit who joins you. Ball Lightning I think is a boss drop or lootable, can't remember exactly but it's pretty early on. Pure Warden is best played as a caster, even though early on it feels like you're being guided towards a hybrid.
The next best weapon after the starting one is dropped by the gremlin that uses sword and shield. It's not that rare, so just keep trying. It'll take a long time til you find an upgrade for it (Azurewrath), iirc from Secret Loft, about 30% of the game.
first is a pure caster wyldwarden build. grab rejuvenation, sic 'em, the root related talents on the right, and spiritual focus. the reason i am grabbing just these talents and not spell related ones like grounding and unstable elements is because they don't actually work well with the spell you're gonna spam that being ball lightning as they only count its initial hit for their % chance and not any of its skill upgrades which is what makes it broken. now this build only functions once you get the ball lightning upgrade to make it do continuous damage around it cause once you do it has an incredibly high trigger rate which will end up essentially just perma rooting every enemy and letting you easily stack to 20 stacks of rejuvenation on normal enemies and 40+ in boss fights which helps with mp and hp a lot. then you're gonna wanna get the skill upgrade for wyld vines that makes your lightning spells stronger. from here i recommend grabbing elemental efficiency in flameweaver because the build ends up doing so much damage that you aren't stacking enough rejuvenation stacks to sustain yourself while exploring. the next problem to address is you're probably feeling like a glass canon so i recommend going into the vindicator tree from spiritual focus as this saves more points then picking up eternal hope, elevated spirit, astral power, and unbreakable spirit. after that you can honestly just grab spell damage increases in spellbinder and flameweaver like power vacuum or spell penetration but honestly it shouldn't matter as things should be dying incredibly fast. playstyle is just spam ball lightning and keep up the wyld vines debuff.
the next build isn't exclusively wyldwarden its more of a hybrid between vindicator, vandguard and wyldwarden but it lets you trivialize the game by face tanking basically everything once you get about half way through the game, like i am not kidding i just stopped dodging and nothing could kill me not even enemies in the final area.
start as the vindicator class and grab unbreakable spirit and faith for now you don't need anything else and want to save all your talent points for level 25. once you reach 25 go straight into the wyldwarden tree and grab sic' em and splitering swarm, this is both a means to scale up sic' em and a main source of our damage for the early to mid game. next up is the vanguard tree grab veteran, enhanced endurance and iron will. once you have all this you're gonna pop back into vindicator and get elevated spirit and astral power from here the build should be mostly complete and you should be very tanky but there are some extras you can pick up but the order shouldn't matter so much. further going along from iron will lets you grab coup de grace and versatility for more damage and defense. you can spend a couple points in vindicator to get eternal hope. as for capping off the damage for your build eternal rage is a good boost as its 15% to all damage and as long as you are using a one or two handed weapon you are technically building up adrenaline even if the bar is hidden so you can still take advantage of it. overexposure is ok but its kind of just a worse eternal rage. now for skills you're gonna grab every consecration upgrade asap, followed by prism upgrades then finally blessed weapon upgrades. the playstyle is drop prism enchant weapon drop consecration and smack the boss till they die. for normal enemies i just stick to consecration as its more than enough.
wow dude didnt expect a wall of text like this but god dayum u helped me a lot big respect from me
Thanks a lot for the great information,
Could you send some screenshots from that build?
