Family Reunion (side quest spoil warning)
Spoil side quest.

With my first caracter i free the prisonner, and i was quite displease with the outcome, the death of the young girl because her father become a vampire. So if i make a new game, and if i don't release the prisonner, the quest will update after some time or it will stay in the journal quest until the end? Thank you.

You either complete the quest or you don't completing the quest is just results in the family being killed.

On the bright side, at least the girl finally got to see his father one last time, and she thanks you. Waiting and not knowing is more painful than death.
LOL no, stop it with that emo crap.
It's not like the girl had a bright future ahead of her otherwise. She stuck in a house surrounded by bloodthirsty monsters, with a rotting corpse of her mother as only company.

When you defeat the tome Mistress, you can ask lord Auberon to stop the attack on the village, and he agree, even if he say he need to feed so he will hunter others we do not know.... So yes for the survivors there is hope, not a bright future but still something.

I will left this definition here for you.

"Role-playing game : a game in which players take on the roles of imaginary characters who engage in adventures, typically in a particular fantasy setting overseen by a referee."

My reply was meant for the one directly above mine.

FWIW, I agree with you that this quest had a weak resolution, the inquisitor had been killing vampiric creatures left and right prior to meeting the father, it makes no sense that a newly turned, heavily wounded vampire can escape him. Would've made more sense to let the player chase then kill him and tell the daughter, then help her get to safety after.

Unfortunately, the game simply isn't that kind of RPG. It's not that big on choices, narrative-wise.

Then you should at least learn how to quote, unless you already get used to not looking at people's faces and making no eye contact when you talk to them in real life, lol!

Ah! Sorry for the misunderstanding about this. I feel the same about this quest, not a lot of choice. It feel like the best choice is to left the quest unfinished to give a chance to the girl to live. But it feel not really sastifying (no quest reward or completion ^^ )
