Yeah, I seriously regret buying this game because of this. The game seriously lacks a challenge. Tried to file a refund despite my game play is over 2 hours. The ignorance of developers principally not answering questions about new game plus is pissing off too..

It's not that they're lying, it's that the feature isn't ready yet and they rushed the description. Just a guess. I'm pretty sure it will appear in the near future.

But the situation itself is certainly unpleasant.

That does not confirm that NG+ would be available on release, it only confirms that there will be NG+ added to the game which has been true since the kickstarter.
I will entirely grant you that it fails to mention how it's getting added post-release though. We got a much clearer answer on the discord.
