Later parts of Castle Braer are absolutely terrible

I cant be the only one that feels that after the vampire boss the game only spams you with mobs and gives zero checkpoints?

Groups of 3-4 mobs, with a tanky warrior that can 2 shot you and mages (that can explode on death or cast a spell that hits you from even 2 screens for 80% of your life) and sometimes an archer that will sit at EVERY corner so you cant climb anywhere. Between those groups are multiple climbing sections or one-shot mechanics.

btw how do you get over the swinging axe that swings from left to right before the boss room? I had to chug a stone skin pot to not die every time.

I dont get this, in the parts before you get showered with shortcuts and checkpoints but there its all just nothing? Just pure frustation nothing more. Castle Braer is just canine fecal matter.

Broo the rifts... dont get me started. Such a bad mechanic. Also feels like they wanted to copy Lords Of the Fallen Umbral but made it immensely worse.

Yeah, not just that. I found a bug, there's no further explanation in the quest "A Noble's Death" the moment you reach the castle main door. Only wants you to go up. And there's no clear direction; you supposed to go to the library flip side to turn on the furnace so that the elevators will work. Your guy will just say it won't work when you reach the elevator that goes up the throne room. For me, I just explored the whole lower until I reach the Tome Mistress and trigger the next quest without finishing the Noble's Death quest. So I went back in and found the elevators are working, went all the way to the throne room and found it's fitted with a windpipe piano... "Facepalm" Went in and defeated Lord Auberon, then triggered the Tome Mistress quest but she's dead.... "Facepalm again" I have a bugged quest that I can't complete.
