Stuck with the game ... where to go now?

I have no idea where to go now to go on with the game?!
I have played for around 20 hours now.
Have the grappling hook with wich I reached some far areas and some where I have to climb up with it wich I found out.

Now I have a main quest ... in german "Drachenherz" ... guess "Dragonheart" in english versions.

There are many areas where I dont know what to do in the so far played world.
Some seem to need some kind of double jump (Dont have it) instead of the grappling hook.
Or I dont get it how to reach the too high areas because the grappling hook seems no function for it.
At one area there is a green slime and when falling into it (Jumping from right to left) I die immidiately without reaching the other side.
One Area with purple flowers I cannot run thorugh because I die before reaching the other side.

The only Sidequests I have are "Gefährliche Studien" guess it is called "Dangerous Studies" in english and "Ein zurückgelassenes Leben" guess it is called "A life left behind".

Where do I have to go now and what to do to go on and reach new areas!???
I ran around for hours now and have no Idea where to go to go on with the game.

Hope someone can help me here with some helpful tips and answers. :-/

You get dubble jump and Dubble jump + Glide later on in main missons. As for Ulfars tools, you get them from the travaler camp (the one with the woman who wanted a dragons eye) from the merchant after you defeat the dragon.

The tools you can find at the snowy camp from vendor.

The game is amazing ... everything is beautiful ... but the difficulty finding the way were to go to go on is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
I will have to search what to go and where to go.
But if I do not find an answer in the next 3 hours of coming gameplaysearch ... I guess I will deinstall.
It is much too unclear were to go.
Especially no one can really help because the game is very long and the world is too big to know exactly where to help me clearly.
I love Metroids ... but this is a little bit too much of search for me and not enough help with that. :-/

I found the tracking quite adequate, it gave you a hint where to go, The tools are in the snowy area, you buy them from the vendor in the little camp.
That is the one quest that wasn't obvious where to go or what to do.

You have to go through the entropie in the gardens of braer. (Gärten von Braer).
