Looked everywhere - got the key from the rat but don't know where to bring it. Which spawn is closest to the next spot? Secret Loft? Lochmuir Village or Lochmuir Road?

I figured it out. I'll spell it out here since everyone else that I searched in steam about it talks in riddles.

Go to the bottom of the map and head to the right and find the rat and kill it for the BOATHOUSE KEY.

Starting from Lochmuir Village spawn, go down and to the left and look around for the Boathouse (it's a non-descript wooden door leading "up" into a house). Within there you'll kill a bloodfiend and find Rikters dead ass.

After that go up and to the right of the map and then left to discover the SECRET LOFT if you haven't done so already. Go up into the loft and talk to the chick on the left and then you'll get the grappling hook.

If you've been to the very top of the castle with the elevator, theres a hard to see climbing spot on the left side of it. Took me forever to see it
