YES im going to BE that annoying. if you guys are going to GATE most of the chest loot behind " lock picks " im going to be as annoying as that tedious is. you might as well just not have a chest there.

it was cute at first 1 bronze chest needed a lock pick , somewhere in the middle of an abandoned town but i ran into my 5th SECRET wall chest that is SOMEHOW locked. thats just atrocious. why have a chest there just have the loot there why do you have to make go through 3 different ways to just find a " ahh damn out of lock picks moment"

i have more to say but for that you need "2500 steampoints" to unlock

I only ever had issue with lockpick for that very first chest, but then I found one and went back, and since then you find them pretty much like candy, and you can also buy them for like only 40 or some ♥♥♥♥, so just buy a bunch and call it a day instead of whining on here?

It's the reason you have marks you can plop on the map at anytime. I've only run into 1 chest I currently couldn't open cause I was out of picks.

im not a modern player but if your going to waste my time, give me an equal reward instead of like piss poor chest drop quality, to constantly having to back-track back and forth

the fact that the vendor is constantly sold out of lock picks is the real travesty but also bro its a metroidvania and a souls like that's like the most backtrack types of games there are

oh yeah i have nothing against backtracking, if it's worth a damn, i know that im back tracking to open a chest with minimal loo thats not a fun " oh yeah im gonna backtrack" it feels more like. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU... i need to walk all the way back there to open this chest i didnt have a pick for the last time. Instead of making progress or making yourself stronger your just Detouring allot, also never found that vendor so thats where most of my frustration came from.

How far are you into the game? I've bought all the lockpicks I can and now I'm in the vampire castle and all out of lockpicks. Haven't been able to buy more because the merchant is sold out.

Same. Just got to the castle and I'm out of lockpicks to buy with 2 locked chests just taunting me.

EDIT: Just found a 3rd locked chest.
