If you decline, you cannot start the game.
The EULA was analyzed. The result was that the EULA conflicts with European and German law in many respects and is inadmissible.
However you can decline the Privacy Policy (the one that allows collection of your data), and still able to play the game.
You saw that the post is from a member of the publishing team, right? That is a completely different company from the dev team.
The devs sadly chose Knights Peak, like the guys who mad Tempest Rising. It is a bad publisher who screwed up stuff in both releases, both were not very consumer friendly.
I really hope both companies are able to get a more recommendable, trustworthy and competent publisher for their next games, as KP will ruin their credibility and reputation.
