Lost Savegame

So, I just lost about two hours of progress after rebooting my computer. The save file is still there, but the game doesn’t seem to recognize it in the load menu. Is anyone else having this issue?

I have full version of game, i was playing normally, have 18h on gameplay time, when i reboot my pc save file dont show in loading panel or i havnt option to continue on main menu. Save file is still in files of game but in game dont show up

Yup. Nothing to do with the demo version, which I havent played btw. This happened on release

This seems to be the case on all platforms ps5/Xbox too suffer from this :( day 1 releases can be rocky hope it's fixed soon for you all

Same, lost about 3 or 4 game time on PS5 after the patch.

Hey guys, We're truly sorry that you experienced this issue. We identified a bug that caused the loss of save games while playing. Our patch yesterday fixed this bug for further game progress but unfortunately lost progress is not possible to be restored.

We managed to publish the patch on Steam, PS5, GOG and Epic Games Store. Our release-ready patch for Xbox and Windows Microsoft Store has been stuck with Microsoft. Their Partner Center has been down and we are still awaiting them to fix it and let us know. We'll create a post as soon as the patch is live.

Please help us examine this issue. Can you tell which days you played on which version (pre-patch, patched), whether you lost your prior (pre-patch) progress right upon patching, or after playing for a while with the patched version and then after restarting the game did you lose progress again. Thank you!

I was playing the prepatch version --> Close game for dinner --> patch was downloaded when game closes --> play fine with the updated patch after dinner --> went to sleep --> no savegame could be found next day (no lost of hours just savegame wont load anymore)

My game doesn't find any savegames aswell, played before and after patch, but on SteamCloud. I played for around 13h.

Thanks for the information. It appears to be a separate issue that we haven't seen yet. We're discussing with the engineering team now. Did your savegame disappear from the list or is it shown but once you click on it nothing happens?

Its not on the list and the "Continue" button dissapeared. However the savefiles are still on my PC (appdata/local/etc)
