what the fk is wok
Likewise. Even though it's only a "limited time exclusivity", it's actually just an insane thought to even include from the start (and try to rectify by making it time-gated).
I was close to pulling the trigger even at $40 because it looks great and it seems to have the content to justify it, but this was just something that made me think "wow, $40 and then this".
Will probably get the game in the near future regardless, but this is really just a sad inclusion from an indie team tbh lol.
seems to me like someone did not have faith in their game
The publisher also releases another game I am interested in, Tempest Rising, and uses the Deluxe edition to give a week headstart for people who are willing to pay more.
In a game that will be very pvp heavy with a ranked system, I find it quite stupid to give people who pay more an extra week of "training time".
I am seriously torn on this game. On the one side I want to play it, if reviews are good, on the other side I know that I will not reinstall the game in 3 months to play a side quest after finishing the game.
Basically, the message is: "Buy the game now or come back in three months, when it is on sale to experience the full game after a few patches".
Have fun dood!
2 hours?
