Also, if you are fond of way more complex RPG mechanics than most metroidvanias then it is worth a try. While Mandragora does feature metroidvania elements, it's primarily an action RPG with 6 very distinct character classes with vast talent trees, hundreds of weapons and gears to collect or craft, and deep narrative with an average 40+ hours main storyline, side quests, and much more.
For the record, I am one of those people.
