Does the Demo End? Kind of Stuck

I got the Rhys key after beating a miniboss and i saved the game. Then I went to Rhy cell to free him but I no longer had the key to do so. I went back to where I fought the boss and the boss is gone and I cannot get the key again. If I can't free Rhys can I do anything else? I'm kind of stuck.

Thank you for reporting this, it sure sounds like a bug. I reported it to the team. Unfortunately at this point your best way forward is to restart.
