If you backed us on Kickstarter, you'll receive access to the PC Closed Beta and Exclusive First-Try PC Demo later down the line, provided you selected a tier including them. We'll let you know as soon as either becomes available!
We can't currently confirm anything for non-Kickstarter backers. However, if something like that does become available in future, we'll be sure to let you know here on Steam and on our other social media pages!
Boo hoo. There was a playable demo a little while ago for everyone. I didn't back the game.
I don't understand the approach. With a demo for everyone, you potentially reach so many more players, who might then actually buy the game. You also get more feedback, which is also helpful. I mean, if you only want to sell the game to your kickstarter backers, that's fine, but it can't really be in your interest. It's the same with Crownsworn - a game I lost interest in since only the kickstarter backers get demos and information about the game. If you only care about backers, you only will sell your game to them.
I agree with this as well. Why throw away free advertising, popular streamers showcasing the game to get the word out, not to mention it increases your rep as a developer with gamers.
I understand creating a demo for the sole purpose of a demo takes away from primary game development time but you already have one locked and loaded ready to release. I really don't get developers sometimes...
