Just wanna vent about the start of Chapter 6

Why the hell didn't I get a choice of starting the adventure like all the other chapters!? I had a bunch of equipment I needed to get from the last chapter and I hadn't touched the arena for this chapter.

I got into the habit of doing all that right before I tell Meloo I am all ready to go. But nooo this time I find myself being thrown into prison without warning! I thought the soldiers and prime minister guy was coming to make a personal request or something, not arrest me!

Doesn't help I went masochist mode and am playing on impossible...

Venting done.... I'm surprised no one else is complaining about this. And no I haven't beaten the chapter yet so save me spoilers if you all have anything to say.
