Apples in chapter 5?

So out of the 4 apples you can give to Gau and his group, I only gave them 3 because I wanted to keep one for use in the Libra. Now I found out that you get another such apple from the pig's gacha machine later.

This makes me wonder, if you give them all 4 apples, do you get anything out of that? Does anyone know?

I handed them all out and as far as I can tell all I got was a little bit of dialog from each.

I kept one then made a save to see the dialog.

From what I read on JP guide.
1) You only need to give out 3 at minimum. The whole point is just to get the hidden orb.
2) Even if you give out all 4, you can still get 1 more later from the gacha.
(I want to see all the dialogues so I gave all 4 as well.)
