keep missing crafting items

first it was the ingots, didn't realize i could craft them till after i missed out on some weapons, now it's the golem fragments in chapter 3. i'm in chapter 4 now, and i'm just missing out on all the weapons and items that needed golem fragments. frustrating to just leave behind all these weapons and items. why have i never gotten a single golem fragment after killing hundreds of dragons and stuff?
my luck is a bit low, but does that mean i'll never find certain items if it's too low?

is there a way to go back and craft the items i missed? i want to get their special skills even if i have to use underpowered weapons.

or maybe there's a spoiler free crafting guide out there somewhere?

Yes, you can go back to farm monster materials from those you never got. Monster-specific drops will only drop from those monsters. Nothing else is going to drop "Golem Fragment" except for the Golem enemy. It does appear a few more times later on.

Luck can help but I've gotten the drops without have to put any level ups into Luck.

You'll want to be checking the Mokyun Shop [the floating house in various areas]. The equipment you get in that specific chapter can be made by the drops from the monsters in that chapter. The only exception is the ingots cuz some will carry over for early equipment in a chapter.

You can backtrack between chapters, but not during chapters. If you haven't already, explore near the bar in the city to find something that'll make backtracking easier.

Chapter 4 is a little annoying in that you probably won't get most of the items for the available recipes until the second half. I believe theres ~4 weapons and you will only be able to farm for 1 of each type. But strangely enough one of them is the best chest armour for the chapter. I ended up grinding mobs thinking I just had bad luck and then ended up breezing through the second half 2 levels higher than needed. Then I crafted everything all at once and grinded some more to finish their masteries.

Appreciate all the info. My biggest issue was getting that golem fragment in chapter 3. Thought it just wasn't available, but then I watched a YouTube video where the guy was able to get them in Chapter 3, although I just got my first one in Chapter 4. Gonna start investing more points in luck from now on. Gonna push forward assuming that all available equipment in shops should theoretically be able to be crafted in that chapter.

You can have everything without investing a single point on luck, but if you want to have all weapons and armor to have all the magic cristals and KARON, you will need to grind.
And yes, everything that appears on a store can be crafted during that same chapter.
