Postscript Ending Questions

So I just finished the Postscript and I had a few questions. First when I loaded the save I made after credits of Postscript I noticed all my gear was unequipped. Easily fixed but the real issue is that when I ask a companion to come with me they just disappear. I tried to invite polin and got the splash screen but he just disappeared.

When I went into the random dungeon they still were not there. I completed a full dungeon and went back and still the companions don't seem to come with me. Is this a bug or am I missing something? I talked to meloo and the companion reappeared when I said to leave them there. Talking to them again and they still just disappear instead of following me. This is the same for all the companions.

Also what does the Cake and Love create? I know you give Love to Anulis but not sure what crafting it with cake does. Also what does the decoration box synthesis with? Also whats the point of the primordial gel. It is ranked high when enhancing but only has 25 points so I assume its important but not sure what its used for.

I can't help with the bug, but I do know about the Cake recipe. Combine Love and Sachertorte to make valentine cake; combine that and the decorated box to make valentine's present. Which you can't consume, but you can use it in Libra. It has Extreme Attack/Magic/ST Increase, which is certainly handy, especially with the other items that have 3 extreme traits.

Encountered the same gear-unqeuipped and invisible-follower bugs after loading my post-cutscene save. It looks as if the save after the ending cutscenes is just before your fight with the final postscript bosses.

It happen to me as well but only after I finished the last level of the Abyss with their bosses. Luckily I had already completed everything including the trophies.

I have the same problem of invisible followers after the ending of the postscript
