How many "Love" do I still need?

According to the guide that I'm reading, you need to give 15 "Love" to Anulis to unlock the Super Ultimate Laser Blade Muramasa .

I even unlocked the alternate ending, with the extra boss "fight", but it has been a while since enemies/bosses dropped "Love".

I've already got all the "Love" from NPCs, so I'm stuck with farming. Does this item still drop after unlocking the alternate ending, or am I doing something wrong and farming the final dungeon in vain?

I'm doing this for the Sage task (finding every weapon, armor and shield in the game), just for completionist purposes.

After enough "Love" she should move to the tavern. See if she's there, if so talk to her. You don't need what she gives you to complete the Great Sage's quest.

Wait, you don't need it? Guess I must've skipped another equipment then.

She's not in the tavern yet, so I think I still need to farm some more and hope it drops (those drop rates are really low, geez).

so you can get 10 from friends, 3 in the base game so you need 2 to unless you made the valentine chocolate then need 3

Maybe I need just one more then, since I've crafted the Valentine Chocolate...

Time to grind the final dungeon again, then.

If you didn't use the chocolate you can dismantle it

There is one more you acquire via the arena, basically beat the final challenge.

That would be 4, then. You can get 3 love before the postscript, one from Kuro, one from Shiro, and one from the Baker's daughter.

For Kuro it is chapter 4 when you are given the choice to administer the medicinal plant, don't be shy and administer the medicine from your lips. For Shiro it is chapter 5, if you managed to keep her alive and also fight the secret boss resulting from that.

Currently I have 12: I got the one from the baker's daughter in chapter 7 (currently crafted into chocolate accessory to use with the scales), the one from the arena, one from the random dungeon, and 9 from squires (still one more to go).

So basically if I dismantle the chocolate item and get the remaining love from squires I will be having 13, 2 loves short of the goal.

First, you only need 14 love for the weapon.

Second, you can attempt to farm Love from the final dungeon, it helps to use the accessory which removes board drops from treasure chests. It is best you try to farm the abyss bosses since you receive 5 chests after each kill, so you can try to grind out to acquire Love there.

Another tip is you bring Polin along so that he can sniff for ‘love’, which increases your chance
