An idea for a hope crystal sink

Since it is possible to max out every NPC with enough grinding, maybe add, idk, an effigy or something that you can offer crystals to for an incremental permanent bonus to your base stats? Ideally you'd need to find an NPC and give them hope so they can rebuild a broken statue for you to make the offerings.

I have maxed that out, too.
I have over a thousand crystals with absolutely no way to spend them.
There should be a way to trade in the hope crystals for more gold, since we need so much gold to do everything that's fun.
