Program timeout (infinite loop?)
I can't even launch the game because I keep getting this error. When launching normally the window only says "Program timeout (infinite loop?)", although if I restart my computer and immediately launch the game it will open and i can play for about 30 seconds before it crashes again with the same error, however after doing this the error gives more information in the window (linked below). Hopefully a dev can see this and hopefully it can be helpful somehow.

Hey Volby, sorry you're having this issue. I started looking into the issue, but it seems very strange. I've reached out to some of the more knowledgeable people on the subject, so hopefully they can provide some insight to me here.

I appreciate that, the game looks fun and i look forward to hopefully being able to play it eventually.

I had a similar problem, with two games in fact. I had this issue with this game and Snow Runner would just crash after starting, other games seemed fine, but now they work.

What happened was I had downgraded Skyrim as a modpack I rather like is no longer up to date as Skyrim got updated, and it seems that somehow in the process of downgrading it, it messed something up with steam, as now that I've uninstalled it, they work fine. I don't know if you've done anything similar, but it might be worth looking into if you have.

Wow, that's interesting. Hmm that gives me a thought. I'm going to make a shot in the dark for the next patch.

It could be completely unrelated, seems strange that two entirely unrelated games would be affected, but I hope it helps in some way.

I've been getting that error as well, but not with the extra stuff. It just shows the program timeout loop.

I just updated a patch with a sort of "shot in the dark" approach to this problem. Hopefully it will at least give me a little more info, if not fix the problem outright. If you've had this problem, and you have a chance, could you try the game again and see what happens?

Ever find a fix for this? Just bought the game and it won't launch.

I'm having this issue too. It seemed to work the first time I booted it up. I played it for about an hour or so. Coming back the next day it failed to start with this same error.

After a game update I was able to play again yesterday and then trying to start it up this morning i'm seeing the same issue as before.

Only setting changes I made in game was windowing it and changing some screen shake and audio sliders. Don't think those are super relevant since some people seem to be crashing without even being able to play the game once.

Any fix for this?
