There are already tournaments, for many years. even before DX, even before online save-uploading. They are all run AI vs AI because manual control tournaments would be the exact same thing: 1) Both players save guts to 99. 2) both players use only 1 tech. 3) both players attempt to run down clock or wither lock-out opponent, which ends up being incredibly boring.

AI vs AI tournaments create a meta that requires planning, forethought, and skill not required in single player or by manual control. At the end of the day, though, it's largely fun because of how wildly unpredictable it can be, even with the best of planning.

Player vs. Player sucks in Monster Rancher. Have you ever played PvP? You get like 2 maybe 3 fun matches out of it and that's about it.

So i found out there is a multiplayer its just steam being horrible with its tag its not multiplayer in a conventional sort but rather more like AI controlled vs another player AI controlled.

Seriously steam fix your tags please or if its not you the company owner of the game fix your submission tags.

It is hilarious to see kids come into this game and expect to Call of Duty 360 no scope this game like it was some peanut butter jelly time with their parents making them a crust-less sandwich. Please understand that this is not a remake just a fantastic port. There is multiplayer, but not in the same sense you're referring to. It is basically to load up a championship battle with one of your monsters and it auto battles and ranks. Which means you need to work on your monster.

i feel you i felt same betrayal in doom eternal. The switch has peer to peer combat but steam does not on this game. I hope they port 3 & 4 i never playd them as kid like 1 & 2 but if im going to devote time into this game i need a reason to no life it lol theirs no achievements or anything to collect so am i going to play it just to beat then what.. why play i need a reason. ai vs ai battles.. maybe but idk
