Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX

Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX

Why is their no skip button on the drills
I played a ton of Monster Rancher 2 back in the day on PlayStation and even got an emulator of it on PC that I played with for awhile and they both have the option to select triangle to skip the drill animations. This DX version seems to not have it. Is that a mistake or was that intentional?

this is a mobile port not the console verison.

I get that but just because it is a mobile port doesn't mean the skip button should't be included.

This is built upon Monster Farm 2, not Monster Rancher 2.
Monster Farm 2 never had skip for anything, you can still put Fast Forward in the options tho.

well complain to them and maybe they add. I think it be nice to get some continued updates for this but its most likely a pump and dump for cash flow and to test the waters if a new game is wise ornot.

Just turn on fast forward mode.

Because we have sinned against God and this reality is our punishment.

Oversight I think since errentry is skippable. Hopefully it will be added with updates

For anyone saying to enable fast forward, Drills and Work still take an amount of time that makes it annoying after repeating it a hundred times

Is this really as good as it gets?

Why are we still here? Just to suffer?

This game was built on Monster Farm, not Monster Rancher, it is a own game, with their oddities, so a lot of things that we are used to wasn't present on Monster Farm version and I'm seeing many people bashing the game in the wrong way because of that.

I've loved Monster Rancher since day one in America, and I can totally understand why people have gripes with it, especially when it's different from what they remember.
I wouldn't say a lot of people are bashing it; more that they're venting their understandable frustrations about it. It'd essentially be the same scenario even if it was a carbon copy.
The exception being the achievement addicts, but I don't consider them people, so they don't factor in at all.

Yeah I can understand this very well, I also didn't knew that this game was based on Monster Farm, but I already was aware of the lack of skip button because of some streamers.

Of course I wanted to see the skip button (or make the game fast forward when I press for example, the LT button).

It would be nice to have an FF toggle button, but I'm really banking on the training skip button. It saves so much time.
I wouldn't be concerned if you could hit the type of fast forward speeds you can hit on an emulator.

pressing the 'back' button skipped Errantry animations in MF2
