Monster Farm 2 never had skip for anything, you can still put Fast Forward in the options tho.
I wouldn't say a lot of people are bashing it; more that they're venting their understandable frustrations about it. It'd essentially be the same scenario even if it was a carbon copy.
The exception being the achievement addicts, but I don't consider them people, so they don't factor in at all.
Of course I wanted to see the skip button (or make the game fast forward when I press for example, the LT button).
I wouldn't be concerned if you could hit the type of fast forward speeds you can hit on an emulator.
