How to align stairs, jetway etc to iniate connection

Hello,
bought the game and passed the 2 hour mark, I love aviation ground support vehicles but i really couldnt solve how to connect stairs, jetway etc or any aircraft door related connection.

tutorial says align with grey buttom of the door but it just doesnt work usually.
I think this game seriously lacking in guidance. I think it is bit unrealistic to make it milimater to milimater.
Any help about this issue would be useful

stairs / Jetway is impossible to align. i gave up and just spammed buttons on keyboard and boom stairs where connected
with controller its so stupid i cant even, especially the jetway where instead of MOVING the damned thing the freaking tutorial messages keeps repeating and repeating and repeating

It's not impossible, but we have noticed some people are really struggling and aren't sure how we should proceed. The stairs are actually super easy, but require practice and patience.

It's not impossible, but we have noticed some people are really struggling and aren't sure how we should proceed. The stairs are actually super easy, but require practice and patience.

A lot of people seem to be having problems with both the jetway and the stairs to the point it actually seems to be random whether they will work or not.

Perhaps it might be a good idea for the devs to upload a video to YouTube to show us exactly where these items need to be placed? A visual explanation would be a much bigger help than explaining via text.

After watching the videos I have the stairs figured out, however I am still having problems with the jetway. Does it even work in the tutorial? I have tried every single position and combination in the tutorial and have not once gotten a successful connection, I am pulling my hair out here, I want to play the game and head into the scenarios but there is no point if I can't successfully work out how to get the jetway to connect.

I've found with the jetway it has to be perfectly straight with the side of the plane and about 1 foot down from the bottom of the door.

And herein lies the biggest problem, it is next to impossible to tell whether it is perfectly straight with the side of the plane, both internal and external view are useless at showing this. As far as the green light goes I have never had it light up and I have tried so many positions.

Using Q&E to rotate the Jetway really helps.

It does need better camera angles/free cam though imo.

I just got this game, and I was having major issues with getting the stairs connected. I think the main issue that I see is, when using a controller, the in game controls state B button will connect. I think there is a button conflict that causes the issue.

I started using the mouse, went to Settings, and saw that it had Connect to Plane listed as the ENTER key. So I went back in the tug, moved the mouse a bit, and then was able to use ENTER on the keyboard to easily connect to the plane. The blinking green light should go to solid green when connected.

Devs, this seems like a controller button conflict. I noticed in the tutorials that sometimes X button on controller performed an action, and other times RT trigger performed an action. Maybe map Actions to one controller button so there are no conflicts.

The vehicles really need a creeper speed. It can be real PIA when you are close but using the w/s keys cause the vehicle to jump forward or back. Maybe a ctrl/a ctrl/s to use a very slow speed.

the jetway needs improvemnet controls too finicky cant manage nor can i find baggage room easily or stand numbers
