where is this darn entrance to the mechanisms? last play through i just smashed the turrets cause i couldn't find it

There's a cave you need to find within the area that you need to send the dragon into. Once in there you need to collect the three bubbles to open the barrier, then figure out how to open the door for the dwarf to get in.

I can't figure out how go any further after the bubble
