Crab bug

To get to the heart of the matter, I used crab for the first time, and it's ability did not work.

At rank one it should copy 50% of the health of most healthy friend, which at that point of the game was 7/8 rank 3 otter, which means the Crab should have gotten +4 health, but at the start of the battle, the ability did not trigger at all. i tried for 2 more rounds before I sold the mob for being broken and hindrance.

The crab did get +2/+2 from misc buffs, making it 5/3 and I don't know if that messed with the function of the creature, or was it the Garlic I put on it, but the ability would not trigger.

I did some more experimenting with crab, and it's completely broken. At rank 1 it would only sometimes gain 1 health from the highest health friendly creature. At Rank 2, the ability started to work like it should at rank 1, gaining 50% health buff from the highest health friendly creature.

Crab doesn't add health, it copies it. So if your level 1 Crab had 4 HP already and the Otter has 8 HP, then you won't see any change, it's already at 4.

Ah. I see. That would make more sense with the results I got. But that just makes the crab horribly bad pet in general if that is the case.

Well, most tier 2s aren't particularly powerful. But if you're investing in trying to scale a single big unit, Crab can complement that so now you have two big units. It's very good with Dodo in particular.

Its a really good scaling pet, it copies 150% on lvl 3, that means, you just need a pet with 33 health to get a 50 health pet, however its attack isnt that good. Its good against summoners, however the hippo would be the better solution. And if you get an enemy team full of skunks its completely useless.
