Magic equipment names and effects..

Out of curiosity, what are the effects of the magic gear? I can figure out flaming weapons but what does charged or the icy stuff do? I can see easily enough when base stats like damage or defense is boosted, same with health but Id like to know what the other stuff means. haven't been able to find anything to give me insight but i figured you guys would come up with something.
On a semi related note, what does stone do? I know what herbs, iron, water and the others unlock but ive never noticed anything about stone. I probably have just looked right past it.
