Raft size limit?
Is there a size limit for rafts? Wondering because I'm considering building my entire base on a raft but I don't want to go through all that work just to find out half-way through that I can't build anymore or something like that...

Technically no, but physics might start acting up the more complex your setup is.

I have the perfect Basic Base Raft for you. And now with the new drop boxes with lids it will be easier to transport items between islands.

I like your raft! I finally settled on a size of 7 wide and 2 deep. I have plenty of space for a couple of log holders, a huge box, disassembly table, small and large stick holders, weapon and tool racks, meat rack, barrel bbq, raised bed, 7 raft roofs, standing torches, 4 water collectors, 4 sails, a large box, and I think that's it.

The log racks and huge box will only be on the raft while I'm transporting and building. Once I'm done building and have a healthy inventory of supplies I'm going to get rid of the log rocks and huge box on the raft.

Wish I had a boat like this in real life. I love this thing.

I'm still experimenting with sails. I had 7 sails but I couldn't see where I was going. I reduced it to four sails and I can see good and I think you still travel at the same speed. Need more testing to figure out the speed thing though.

Thank you! I would love to see a screenshot of your raft, it sounds amazing, I might want to duplicate it for another video. Alas, since they changed the sails you can only go as fast as 3 sails so unless you just like the look of more sails it's not worth it. Good luck with your pillaging of the islands.
